Matmonim offers a merit based scholarship of $500, available directly through Matmonim Summer Camp. It requires a letter of recommendation from a teacher at the student’s school, preferably one from Jewish History or Judaic Studies. Additionally, our merit scholarship requires two consecutive semesters with a 95 average. Applicants should send the letter of recommendation together with photocopies of the report cards and the completed application to the address on the application.
Need Based Scholarships
Matmonim is sensitive to the increasing costs involved in properly educating our children. To that end, Matmonim has established relationships with Jewish Federations across the country to make need based scholarships available directly through your local Jewish Federation.
The list below of Jewish Federations through which need based scholarships are currently available is constantly being updated. If you are in an area that is not covered by a Jewish Federation in the list below, please feel free to contact us and we will attempt to work with your Jewish Federation. Alternatively, you may contact your local Jewish Federation if they are not on the list, and ask them to contact Joshua Weiss.
